Description of activity
The National Institute for Earth Sciences and Astronomy co-ordinates research covering a wide spectrum: astronomy and astrophysics; science of the Ocean and the Atmosphere; Earth Sciences and those of continental surfaces. The INSU is structured around the Observatories (OSU), and is engaged in national and international programmes. It opens ways to answer today's major scientific challenges
